Silicone membranes
Widths
Silicone membranes
It has very high stretchability, even up to 860%. It has high resistance to high temperature, on the order of 250°C. The main use of our silicone rubber is vacuum forming. Silicone membranes can be on two sides smooth, as well as with a textured surface. All these parameters mean that every customer should find a proper membrane for their application. Various rubber widths and thicknesses available. Forming and gluing with a membrane causes an even pressure on the entire plane of a flat or curved element, which positively affects the quality of the connection.
Area of aplication
- Membrane vacuum presses
- PVC foiling
- Vacuum forming
- Veneering with natural veneer
- Forming Kydex, PETfelt, Prepreg
- Bonding laminates
- Thermoplastic molding of solid elements of the Solid Surface type, e.g. CORIAN, STARON, etc.
- Thermoplastic molding of solid elements of PVC, PLEXI

Silicone rubber membrane.
Silicone rubber sheets have high temperature resistance, even up to 250⁰C. Silicone membranes have been used in the formation of hot materials such as mineral-acrylic plates, which are used to make kitchen worktops, sinks, as well as facade decorations. The silicone membrane can be used in the same areas as the rubber membranes but will have a shorter life. Silicone rubbers has also been used in the process of sublimation of graphics on vacuum presses. For thermoforming, silicone elastomers with a hardness of about 42 ShA are used. It is also used in the glass lamination process and the production of photovoltaic panels, and in this case rubber with a hardness of 50-55 ShA is used.
